What virtual communities. On the Sony yes, on microsoft's xbla, No, I don't see it as a virtual community at all (Thanks god! - Next thing I know, someone'll be throwing a virtual sheep or custard pie at me).

When I look at them on my browser, they are scaled down and look awesome. If Gears2 is half as good as that, awesome. Seeing that there is such a large 'bad dude' sounds like fun.
And I'll continue to pay if it stays this good..
I've tried the wii offering and it's rubbish.
The PS3 offering.. well, you can't complain it's free. But I reckon there's room for a premium paid-for service there too.
You know, facebook springs to mind, I'm sure they also say that facebook is all about social.

Why buy an elite?

Different people different reasons, some for disk storage etc., there's a guy here who will buy the elite because he can't stand the white xbox 360 as it'll be the only white piece of kit in his front-room..
Don't make 'being a fanboy' so obvious.
This is excellent news for the 360 and the console market, This will force the prices for the other consoles down..
I can understand why people buy the PS3 if you can afford it, but I still can't understand people buying that low powered console aka Wii..
